What You Need to Recycle

Recycling with us is simple! Just bring:

✔ A valid ID (State ID, Driver’s License, or Passport)

✔ A vehicle for all copper sales

Payment Rules:

  • Cash payments are only issued for non-copper sales up to $300 per day; any remaining amount will be issued by check.
  • All copper and AC sales will be issued by check.
  • Checks will only be provided the same day to licensed contractors or businesses.
  • All other checks will be held for five days and can either be picked up by customers or mailed at customers request.

These restrictions are in place to ensure that all copper material processed through our facility comes from legitimate, traceable sources.

All individuals and businesses bringing in copper scrap must provide valid government-issued identification (e.g., driver’s license or passport). This helps us verify the identity of all sellers and prevent the illicit sale of stolen materials.

Limitations on Copper Quantities

For any transaction involving copper, there are limits placed on the quantity per transaction. These limits may vary based on the current market and other factors, but we will always work with you to make sure you understand what’s permissible.

Proof of Ownership

In some cases, we may ask for additional documentation or proof of ownership for larger amounts of copper. This is part of our effort to ensure that all materials processed are legally obtained and to protect our clients from any potential issues related to stolen goods.

If you are a contractor, property manager, or business owner bringing in copper from a job site, we may request a detailed receipt or invoice showing the source of the material. This helps us verify that the materials are being recycled legitimately.

In the case of suspected stolen copper, we work closely with local law enforcement to ensure that any suspicious transactions are reported. We comply with all local and state laws surrounding the sale and recycling of scrap metal to prevent criminal activity.
